Dr. Michael H. Chu graduated from the Western University of Health Sciences. He has had superior training in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and Crozer Chester Medical Center in Upland, Pennsylvania. He completed his General Surgery training at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. Dr. Chu is trained in Open and Endovascular Techniques to treat Aortic Aneurysms (AAA), Carotid Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease (PAD), Visceral Disease, Venous Disease, and Dialysis Grafts.   Additionally, Dr. Chu has specialized training in the interpretation of Vascular Ultrasounds, as well as practical knowledge and experience in Wound Care.  In fact, Dr. Chu is the Associate Director of Vascular Surgery at the Long Island Wound Care Facility. Dr. Chu completed his Surgical Internship at the world-renowned Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota. Dr. Chu joined Long Island Comprehensive Medical Care in November 2020 and practices out of our surgical suite in West Islip, NY.
